Great 2nd battery for S4

Great little battery for its price. It took about 40 minutes for me to fully charge it. It claimed 2800mAh, in practice this did ext by S4 all day compare to the stock OEM battery. With the two batteries you can go on all day with work or games on your phone. I was just looking for an alternative battery to get my S4 to run all day without recharging and I found it. I recommend getting an external charger so you can always charge the extra battery and have it ready.

In our current generation, almost everyone has a smart phone. Smart phones have become an essential part of our lives and they are under constant usage for everyday tasks. It's amazing to think such a small device can perform at such a high level and be able to support so many aspects of our lives. Now, every thing has a power source, and sadly smart phones still lack a very good battery life. However thankfully, there are a few alternatives to tackle this issue. Some prefer to carry around a power bank, which can be used to charge your phone anywhere and some prefer to carry around an extra fully charged battery, which is what I prefer.
This High capacity Li-ion battery is from the manufacturer RavPower. Now prior to this item, I've had no experience with this company, so I did not know what to expect. Considering the price range for this 2800mAh battery, I honestly did not have high hopes. Once I received the item in the mail, I opened it up right away and was quiet surprised at the packaging, it as very well done. I decided to take out the stock battery that came with my Samsung Galaxy S4, and popped in the new battery by RavPower. The battery already came halfway charged, however I was astonished as to how fast the battery charged to it's full capacity. Usually it takes me about 30-40 minutes to charge my S4's stock battery from half to full capacity, whereas this battery only took somewhere between 20-25 minutes, that's quiet an improvement. Another reason to consider this battery is, the stock battery is 2600mAh, whereas this battery comes at 2800mAh. Without the technical terms, what it really mean is that you will get a little bit more battery life out of this product.
I was given this product as a sample to test after I came to an agreement with RavPower's product manager that I would provide an honest review of my experience, even if it were to be a negative one. After speaking to the product manager, I can assure you that this company has a great staff standing behind their products and provides great customer service. I mention that because this product comes with a no question asked 30 days money back guarantee and a year long warranty to replace the product free of charge if it were to break down. Many companies state such claims but fails to provide them, however that will not be the case with RavPower. This is a great replacement battery for the S4. Works just as described. It fits into the phone without needing a new backplate, and gave me slightly better battery life than the OEM battery. Certainly a more affordable option than buying a new OEM Samsung battery. Highly recommended.
