Let me explain my scores. This is about expectations
If you compare this to other cases out there with a 80-90 dollar price point there are a few things that the case itself should be.
1) Durable (better than say the otterbox defender as a reference)
2) Have good sound solution (almost as good as without a case)
3) Have a good screen protector solution - scratch resistant or proof (ghost armor or zagg invisi-shield for reference)
4) Be MIL-810-F/G and in this case IP-68 certified.
Shortfalls:
1) The case itself is an improvement to the S3 variant, but it's plastic body has a matte finish to it that is _EASILY_ scratched and buffed away.
2) The sound has a slight muffled aspect to it. Probably from wave dynamics and tends to affect high pitched sounds the most. Seidio's solution of turning OFF the noise cancellation and reinstalling it, does _NOT_ fix this problem. Some people say that there is a microphone issue, I haven't had this problem.
3) The screen protector feels nice and soft to the finger...quite nice but it gets scratched easily enough that it can get abrasions - not just a simple scratch but a multitude.
4) Screen protector creases at times. Because it isn't directly ontop of your screen - it can stick, and due to potential space can get creases within it against anything with an edge, keys, octagon shaped pencils, pen cap.
Where it excels:
5) It is waterproof
6) Has a good shock rating
So problems 2 and probably 3 & 4 are related to being waterproof and their options for sound solutions and screen protectors. 1 is just the finish. Some complain that the clip is too tight at the bottom for the usb access, but if the matte rubs off so easily, I think it needs to be tight as wear and tear will find its way into this case quickly.
But because of the shortfalls 1-4, I have to worry about how I handle this case, let alone the phone. Make sure it's in a pocket without any loose objects. Make sure the screen is always somehow protected. Is that what I paid for 90 dollars? To be careful with the case instead of being careful with the phone? That's the fundamental question I have about this case.
If you are looking for a good all around case with waterproofing - well, this isn't it, but it's the best option at this point that's ip-68 and isn't a fake or knockoff.
If you are worried about waterproofing now and need it now and are willing to live with the shortfalls because of it, this is your case.
My suggestion is: if you already have a good case and would like to have the best waterproof solution out there and willing to wait, lifeproof might be better as it will be about the same cost, offer a device warranty, AND has a better sound solution, although it has a detached screen protector with potentially the same problems.
If you can't wait and need something, Obex is the best out there because it's really the only branded ip68 mil-f/g rated case out right now. There are some ip 67 (not as waterproof - 1 meter for 30 minutes) cases out there like bfree.
Seidio improved this case from GS3, I expect the next gen to be even better than this generation with better sound performance and better materials for the screen protector / case itself.
My personal feel is that for the money, Obex doesn't deliver the goods I would expect for such of an expensive case. 2/5
It looses 1 star for lack of warranty. Looses another star for it's limited sound performance. Looses the last star due to the screen protector / durability issues with the case.
(if you write off the sound and screen protector because it's almost unavoidable for a waterproof case - then 4/5)
In the end for 80-90 dollars, it may be waterproof, but what's the point if I have to worry about the case getting damaged by keys in my pocket, which is why I prefer the 2/5 score as opposed to the 4/5.

First glance:
I just got this case today and on first Glance it is great. It is sleek, rugged and not to bulky. I have already done a waterproof test and hey what do you know it's waterproof. I did multiple water test first I just ran it under the faucet, second I put it at the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket full of water last I sprayed it with the garden hose turn to the jet setting and it still held up with no leaking. After that extensive testing I trusted it enough to put my gs4 in it. Sound quality is not effected only volume but just a tad. Included in the box is the case and waterproof headphone jack adapter so you can listen some music in water. If you have some water proof headphones that is. The screen protector has dots on it which are spacers so no polarization rainbows will happen and you can not see them while the screen is on.If installed correctly the screen will set flush with the screen. Will post more info after further review.

Pros- Excellent waterproof, tested and works great
Slim design, not as bulky as otter box
Excellent drop durability/ tested and worked with a fall of 4 feet on hard surface.
Cons- Rubber seal for headset jack tears off/ they need to do a major upgrade in the rubber flap durability if it you want it to last.
Echos on speaker phone/ cancels out your voice when speaking to others/ major problem if you use speaker phone
Case is a little to slick/ I would like to have the case feel a little more tacky so it doesn't slip out of your hand.
I have a wireless charger set up and it is very hard for it to connect with this case. I may need to look at a better/more powerful wireless charging system to penetrate the case. I just don't know of any.
Concerns
Will the screen easily get scratched over time
Will the flap covers to connect your power last many years before falling off like the headset flap fell off.
