Don't use if your phone has a screen protector!

I was excited to receive this armband for my new Galaxy S4 so I could use a running app on it. I have smallish arms, so I was afraid the band might be too big, but I was happy to find that it fit just fine. HOWEVER, the very FIRST time I inserted the phone and strapped it on my arm, I noticed that along one entire side, the clear plastic covering had separated from the armband material. This is before I even used it!

Then, when I went to remove my phone from the sleeve, the clear plastic on the armband was STUCK to the screen protector on my phone. When I tried to peel them apart, the screen protector on the phone stretched and creased (and it was an $18 Zagg Shield!). As a result, I have to replace the screen protector for my phone.

Great armband

The armband performs just as described. Fits my phone well. It has a hole for my headphones as well. I'm happy that it stays in place while I run. Many of the previous armbands would slip down my arm as I ran. Very happy with the equipment.

will not fit phone with case

I bought this for my samsung galaxy s4 with one of the thinner silicone cases in the market. It does NOT fit this armband. It does however fit great without the case. Hopefully this won't be too inconvenient?
