Best case for the price. Maybe best period.

I have owned many phone cases, and for this phone in particular (galaxy s4) I have 4 different ones. This is the best by far. Easy to install, just take off the black plastic piece, insert the phone into the rubber, and snap the black plastic piece on, done. No struggling to get the phone in or out, and no scratching my precious S4. Other cases which look similar to this case, a sleeve and hard shell with a stand, are made with a gel or silicon sleeve. This has a much grippier and more solid rubber feel. The phone feels more secure in your hands and even without the hard shell/stand piece on, the red rubber part holds onto the phone better. I always use both and you should too, I'm just stating that the part fits the phone better than my other case sleeves. The gel sleeves are not as strong or sturdy. What some may see as a downside to this is that pressing the volume or power key requires a harder press. I have had this case for the Note2 and my Galaxy s4, and I like this harder button press. The Note had a issue where the keys would sometimes be inadvertently pressed inside a holster or pocket. that no longer happens with this holster. The only issue I have is that is doesn't have a belt clip holster to slide into, like it did when I got it for the Note2, but I found a leather holster which fits it perfectly, and is better than the plastic belt holster, because they tend to break.
I have 3 friends who own a Note2 or galaxy s4, and after I let them try out the case on their phone, they switched for good. I honestly couldn't be happier with this case. I don't usually write reviews, so I hope this helps someone who is looking for a great case to secure your Galaxy and also looks great. I own this case in blue/black, and all black as well, thanks to the great price and a great product.
This is a similar case, but made with a gel/silicon sleeve. i-Blason Prime Series Dual Layer Holster Case Kick Stand Compatible with Samsung Galaxy S4 SIV S IV i9500 with Locking Belt Swivel Clip Manufactured by i-Blason (Red) The button presses are easier, but the phone doesn't feel nearly as secure in my hands. You can see small smudges on the sleeve where your fingers touched it, oily looking. Its just a bit more slipperier grip than this case. You can see the back is different as well. The Diablo case has small dots, and the other has single horizontal raised slashes. The sleeve itself has no grips and the Diablo has several. This combined with the more solid rubber grip gives it a better feel. I owned the other case and the first time I sat down in my car with the holster attached on my hip, the plastic snapped. Thats why I bought a leather holster that has a metal clip covered in leather, and leather belt loops as another option, to carry the phone. Or sometimes I just carry it in my pocket. I carried my original Galaxy for 4 years in my pocket and thanks to the Gorilla glass these phones are made with, it has zero scratches to this day. I also never had any problems with the stand. I used it on my Note2 for about 4 months with no problem. Its easy to open. Once you pull it part way open by using the notch for your finger, (pointing your finger directly at the back of your phone) simply place your index finger inside the opening and press flat down on the sliding piece until it locks into place. I've seen people try to squeeze their finger in between the stand and the phone to press down and lock it, but its much easier if you simply put your finger in the middle opening and press down.

Good Interim Case

These cases are decent value for the money. Basic black for myself and pink for the g/f, these are interim cases while holding on Otterbox to finish the Mossy Oak Defender series. As a guy I have no problems using the buttons and am enjoying the increased grip on the generally slim S4. While not an ideal option you can use the rigid shell to form a clamshell for this phone to prevent the majority of potential screen dmg
I would buy this brand again. Was surprised to have 2 different shipping methods for items from the "same" vendor, 1 case from Minnesota via USPS and 1 from Texas via UPS. Still ordered Monday and arrived today.
Lastly I will 2nd a comment from another reviewer I can see myself breaking the kick stand when locking it into place.
Worth the money, but for me not a long term case.

Along with a screen protector i feel my S4 can be used as a tank to take over all phones. This case does the job, only thing that was a minor nuisance is that you need to press the power button on the case with a bit of force or it wont respond. The stand works great and i love to use to to watch movies when I'm not home. Great Product.
