Love Otterbox. Love the sexy Clear Reflex

Got mine in the mail today. I have been using the commutter otterbox. The case is sexy looking and feels a little better against your face when making calls compared to the commutter otterbox. As far as protection it seems like this is comparable to the commuter. The only thing that scares me is that if it drops hard enough the two pieces that hold the case together may separate and leave the phone vulnerable. It has a snug fit so this may not happen But only time will tell..... or only me dropping the phone will tell me. In the past otterbox has saved my phone from breaking when I dropped it from the second story of an air plane at wrk and the only thing that broke was a corner of the plastic case. That is just one reason I love otterbox.

First otter that just didn't work out

We purchase new phones often, keeping up with new tech. We also always choose otter box for protection. This time around I was excited that I found such a minimalist cover and went ahead and ordered it. I generally use a commuter. Well, I love the way it looked on the phone but it did not properly snap together. There were gaps on both sides (front) and the actual clasp never would "snap". Perhaps defective or maybe just the design itself. I had to send it back, it would not stay on. Even just gripping it could cause it to unbuckle. I sent it back and got a defender.
For some reason the defender series for this phone are actually fairly thin. If you have prime and get the free ship and return then you may want to try it and see how it goes if you like the case, otherwise stick to commuter or defender.
The case is clear by the way, so if you have a white phone it will appear like the picture.

Really bad, may have gotten a defective unit

I'm an otterbox fan, but this reflex case I received is just awful. The 2 pieces of the case don't slide together property. I put them together over my phone, but it never snaps into place. I noticed that the rubber seal on the center button was shredded, so this may have just been a defective case. Either way, it's unacceptable for me to pay this much for something that I can't even use.
