Great quality for the price.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 i747, and this thing fits it perfectly. Not too big. Not too small. Quality is surprisingly good. Doesn't look like the strap will snap, nor are there any metal or plastic pieces on it that can possibly be faulty. I have a somewhat slim tpu case on the phone, which I do have to remove when using this arm band, but it's no big deal. Honestly, If my case was plastic, and not rubber, it may actually slide in and fit OK. Don't quote me on that though. You are also able to touch the screen through the plastic cover. As for the band size, it's great. My arms are not He-Man's size (only about 12-13 inches around my bicep - wow, that sounds bigger than it really is. lol), and this thing has plenty of leeway in both directions (bigger/smaller). Overall, for $6 or whatever this was, it was a GREAT deal, and I would easily buy this again instead of paying more for something that is probably just as good or possibly worse.

Avoid - it's inexpensive for a reason

This product is terrible and customer service from the seller is non existent. After quite some time after I ordered, the product finally arrived. It was much too big for my arm and I am not a particularly small person. Also, my phone didn't really fit in the case. I had to really shove it in there. The fit is not right for a Samsung Galaxy S3. I emailed the seller about these issues and requested a refund. The seller responded with an ungrammatical email and marked the request as resolved because of a "solved technical issue". Obviously, this was inaccurate. I wrote again and the seller did the exact same thing with the same response, so I knew it was a form email. I wonder how many times they would have done this if I kept writing back. Thankfully, Amazon is the best. I filed an A-Z claim and they gave me an instant Amazon credit. This is why I shop on amazon.com.

Fits my Samsung Focus i917 well; good quality and value.

I bought this armband for use with my Samsung Focus i917 (4" screen). My i917, in a snap-on hard plastic case, fits snugly into this armband, but not too tightly: you can get it in and out of the armband without too much effort.

PROS:

- Comfortable, non-buckle design. Armbands with buckles often dig into the arm. This armband does not use a buckle: only the nylon/neoprene band touches your arm.

- Clear plastic cover. You can see who is calling and even use the i917 touchscreen thru the plastic, though don't count on a lot of precision. You can actuate the screen/ power button without taking the handset out of the armband. However, to make a voice call you'll probably want to use a headset / earpiece as the armband pouch largely muffles the microphone and speaker.

- Key pocket. There's a separate 2.5 inch deep pocket on top that would fit a key, a rolled up $20 bill, etc.

- Snug fit (for Focus i917 w/ case). I can wear the pouch opening down on my upper arm (so I can read the screen), but the fit is tight enough so the phone won't slip out of the armband.

CONS:

- Since there isn't much Velcro closure material on the end of the strap, AND the strap portion is not very elastic, the velcro closure pops loose and slides down the arm during certain exercises (pullups, chest presses, bicep curls). Annoying when it happens.

COMMENTS ON OTHER REVIEWERS' COMMENTS:

- "Material absorbs sweat and is transferred to the phone". This is true. The nylon backing material does absorb liquid (the Neoprene itself does not). The phone will not get wet if you sweat lightly. But if you sweat a lot and strap the phone to a bare rather than sleeved upper arm, chances are some sweat will eventually make it thru to the phone.

- "... it is for a woman's arm ...too small for a man": The band fits between 11-inch and 15-inch circumference upper arms; if your upper arms are smaller or larger than that, you should look elsewhere (or wrap the armband around your forearm instead). TIP: Keep in mind that unless you plan on wandering around with your biceps permanently flexed (don't laugh ... there are people in the gym who seem to do that), you should measure your uppers arms UNflexed.
