best to invest in a protective case for my Samsung Galaxy S4. After surfing through the
thousands of battery I came across the Maxboost version and was drawn to the overall design
and the fact that it included a belt holster.
Upon receiving the "bundle" I was really impressed by the design. I really liked that the
matte black finish was not just a complete dull black. The design which in my opinion resembled
some of the luxury leather products out for men made the case feel much more elegant and
refined. The added bonus being that this case could handle a lot more abuse than a Gucci man-
purse. The protective, anti-slip coating felt good in my hands, and offered all the protection I
could want for my S4.
Other benefits of the case was that it had a small lip which helped protect the screen from
frontal drops and the kickstand which holds the phone up when you lay it horizontal, this is done
for your viewing pleasure. The cutouts of the phone were well done, the edges were rounded out
which made the case feel more complete than some other versions which leave the cut-outs with
a rough edge.
The belt holster is a great added extension to the protective case. Using the same design
as the phone, it is a great accessory to have for work. I use my phone constantly and having the
phone on my belt lets me avoid having the phone in my pocket which is nice since I wear thin
slacks which make anything in the pockets bulge out.
The two features of the belt holster which are worth mentioning are the felt-cloth lining
which protects the screen from damage when inserting or removing the Galaxy S4 and the
additional kickstand which is built into the belt clip itself. I had never seen that before.
Overall the protective case and holster by Maxboost are both great products. They are
light-weight, look good, and help protect my phone from the daily abuse of my ownership.

Ordered this along with 3 other hard cases for my new Galaxy S4. This one was the only belt holster type, and turned out the exactly what my brother was looking for. It has a great feel to it, the outside is not slick and not sticky. The kickstand is a nice added feature! The cover fits well on the phone, all the holes are lined up properly. The holster fits securely on the belt and the phone slides into it easily and stays secure. Needless to say, I am not getting this back - he is very happy with it so far. Guess if I want my own, I need to order another one...

This case is well made, rugged, and performs to my expectations. I really thought this would be poorly fitting and ugly, but to my pleasant surprise, it looks and feels like it could charge double the price. What I actually bought it for was the belt clip, and it is well designed and executed. I really like the look and feel of the black material. The phone + case slides in and out of the belt clip with just the right amount of resistance. The black case also feels durable. I actually feel that this is a better case than what the Ottorbox would have for the S4.
