Dropped my phone and screen was cracked, so I gave this a shot.
Looked up a few videos online (Would recommend this one as it matches up to what you need to do for this product: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhlyZ9GZidw) and installed this in 45 minutes and it was done.
I'd recommend this because, unlike some other ones, the glass and LCD digitizer come preassembled together with the buttons and sensors for the front plate. This means, once you do everything in the video above, all you have to do is reverse of the video with your new screen to fix the issue. This makes it way easier than any product out there where the glass and digitizer is separate.
It's easy to replace, just make sure you have a good phone tool kit with the plastic separator tool. That is definitely needed along with a nice small Philips head screwdriver.

Exactly what I needed. It is great that the glass, screen and frame all come together. Replacement took 1/2 an hour and no need to heat and reapply the glass since it all comes assembled.

I installed this on a Verizon phone. Pay attention to what you order - there is a different part for ATT/other phones.
This seems to be the genuine Samsung replacement part. After breaking my phone, I visited several "cell phone repair" places around. They all showed me the part they would install, and they all differed. None were exactly like the original part. Pay close attention to the details - is the color truly black? Is there a very slight black outline around the Samsung logo (there should be)?
Even seemingly reputable places (chains) showed me after-market, generic parts. Why pay $200+ for them to install something that may be made of different glass and may break easily? It wasn't worth the risk to me. I am extremely satisfied with this part.

I really took my time, being very careful not to break anything. From the time I turned my phone off to the time I turned it back on was exactly 38 minutes.
You do not need any extra adhesives. I installed this with only two tools: a small 00 phillips head screwdriver (I was able to get by with a size 0) and something thin enough to pry the phone apart from the sides (I used a guitar pick). The video shows the use of a plastic pry tool. This would be ideal, but you can use anything thin for prying the pieces apart.
When reassembling with the new part, I just followed the video in reverse. One tip - don't forget to pull the two antenna wires from the old piece and install them in the new one. It's as simple as running them down the sides of the phone and pushing them in to their slots.
