I just received my Unicorn Beetle case a few minutes ago. Is Unicorn Beetle an internet joke? Oh, nope, it's just the largest beetle in the US. Thanks, Google. I was immediately highly impressed. It fits beautifully on the phone, and seems like it should provide good protection. It's a truly gorgeous case design, and gives the phone a nice solid feel and a very high tech look. The buttons are a little harder to press, but that will probably get easier as the case material gets broken in.
The cutouts are all perfectly centered over their ports, including both microphones and the IR Blaster. A word of warning - the factory's USB charge/sync cable fits perfectly, but others may be too big. This is no fault of the case, since if the hole was widened out it would make the case weaker in that spot. I solved this by taking an x-acto blade and carefully trimmed a bit of the overmolded rubber from most of my USB cables. This is easy to do, but be careful - and it won't be possible on a USB connector with a hard plastic shell. So far, I've only needed to trim the top face of the USB connectors (the side facing you when the cable is plugged into your phone and you're looking at the screen).
I ordered the case in black and red (I'm obsessed with those colors, and I don't even remotely care about the Georgia Bulldogs). The color of the red part is just slightly paler than I would have liked - I like a good, strong, deep red, but this will do just fine, especially considering how much I like the rest of the case. The edges of the case fit just ever so slightly around the bevel of the screen in every direction, providing just a little bit more protection than other cases I've seen. That extra coverage means it also hides the edges of the screen protector a bit better. The case doesn't add much bulk to the phone, and feels very good and solid in the hand. The bevel is thick enough that the screen will never touch anything when laid facedown, and the camera is recessed enough to get the same protection. The TPU edges provide a bit more grip on the edges of the phone, but it still remains easy to slide in and out of pockets. I wish the back of the case was a bit grippier, because I lay the phone in the passenger seat a lot and it often ends up in the floorboards after a quick stop, but I don't know how it could be designed around that and still be so darn... purdy.
All in all, it seems to be a really great case, and I find myself wishing they made the same design for my other gadgets (iPod Touch 5 and iPhone 4, and eventually one of the new Nexus 7's). Maybe someday, right?

Product is as described fit snug and all buttons work fine. I bought this case for my daughter for her birthday. She have several cases already and this is the one she uses the most! I will order again from this seller.

The case is for my stepmom, she loves it!!!! It fits into her pockets nicely, the edges are smooth and the rim of the case protects the phones screen when it is face down. She's happy so it's a winner!
