Does not fit galaxy S4

I'm sure it's a great battery, just not for the Galaxy S4 because it's too fat and you have to force the back cover on once its in leaving a bulge in your phone.

Not only did they refund my money and let me keep the batteries, they sent me 2 more batteries to test and I have to say the new ones fit great. This was the absolute best customer service I have ever received. Very nice people. I highly recommend this company.

Great Combo Pack With Tons Of Power!

There is nothing better than to have an extra two batteries for your Samsung phone. This Battery Charger Combo is perfect for home or travel use. The wall charger is slightly larger than the batteries and quickly charges your battery either by using the USB port into a computer or directly into a wall socket (that is a far faster method). You can also charge your phone while charging a battery, by using the USB port to your phone. However this only works if you are plugged into a wall socket - not a computer USB port.

When your battery is charged, the LED changes color. The batteries will also hold a charge a long time (I can only attest to one month so far). For this price, you never have to worry about running low on battery charge. There are also some ways I found personally and through the warranty and instructions on how to keep the battery lasting longer. These are common sense practices that apply to almost any battery.

*Turn off Bluetooth, WIFI or GPS when not in use
*Disable your automatic brightness control setting
*Shorten your screen backlight time to the lowest setting
*Shut down ANY applications that are not in use (consult your phone instructions)
*Switch off vibration (this eats up power!)
* Try to avoid animated wallpapers, widgets, etc.

Also, always have a little bit of charge in your battery (minimum of 5%) when not using it. Try not to overcharge a battery, as in leaving it in overnight. This can reduce the life of your battery. Keep your batteries in a dry, cool place and away from moisture. Product was generously supplied by manufacturer for an honest and fair review.

Batteries: Excellent. Charger: Good.

I received these batteries at the same time as I got my preorder S4 from VZW. The packaging is improved my a mile over previous Anker products, a nice matte black box with embossed metallic lettering, giving the impression that you bought a quality product.

The batteries fit the phone very well, with no perceptible change in weight or dimension of the phone. (One other reviewer said these batteries made the back on his phone stand off a little. Mine do not do this.)

UPDATE: I balanced the battery against the original, and found the Anker to be approximately 4% heavier based on the balance point being off center 6.125 inches to 5.875 inches. Also, I placed a straightedge over the face of both batteries, and found that the Anker batteries were both slightly thicker than stock, by about the thickness of two pieces of copy paper (I know, scientific, right?). Overall, pretty close, and it causes no trouble with my phone.

The battery life itself *seems* to be on par with the stock unit, though I admit the phone's only a week old now, so long-term results may vary. And, finally, these batteries ARE equipped with the NFC antenna, and NFC functions work as expected. At this price, I might consider buying even more batteries, just so I can survive a multi-day hurricane outage.

The charger is, as others have noted, a unit specific to the Anker S4 batteries. This is way easier to use than the semi-universal charger I bought for my Galaxy Nexus batteries just a little while ago, with it's sliding adjustable pins. One minor niggle is the fit with the OEM battery. The Samsung battery has three small nubbins on the bottom edge of the battery which prevent the battery from sitting completely flat in the charger, which the Anker batteries do not. The original battery still stays put, and it charges fine, but, aesthetically, it just looks like a poor fit. Would be nice for Anker to address the original battery fit in a next generation unit.

The remaining aesthetic issue with the charger is the plastic used to form the body. It is a white plastic, with a nice gloss finish. However, the plastic allows the color of the LED to bleed through the plastic when lit, so the plastic looks less substantial than it actually is. As I said, this is an aesthetic issue, and probably does not reflect the actual quality of the product, as it feels very sturdy in the hand.

There are two minor functional issues with the charger. One is the lack of micro-USB input to the charger, which other Anker chargers have, and the included instruction manual still says exists. The only port is the USB output port, which apparently cannot be used concurrently with a battery charge.

The final functional issue is the relatively low output of the charger itself. It's rated for 4.4volts at 0.6A charging power. This results in a relatively slow charge. This might be a conservative spec to avoid battery damage/overcharging on Anker's part, and does not result in partially charged or non-charged batteries.

Overall, the package is a GREAT value at thirty bucks (especially given the single Samsung battery's street price of $40 per), and I'm glad I bought it. I'd recommend it to any S4 owner.
