Compares quite favorably against others.

This was a gift for the wife.
I can directly compare to the Speck CandyShell Grip, Otterbox commuter and defender, and Tech21 Impact cases.
Fit is perfect of course. No issues with buttons, lenses, sensors, etc.
The Ballistic Aspira corners (shoulders) bulge out just slightly in all dimensions. This is a big advantage, because if you drop your phone on a corner, that impact is multiplied considerably, and you're much more likely to take damage. The down-side is that the bulging may give this one a slightly "cartoonish" look, compared to the Speck Grip.
Comparing to the Spek CandlyShell Grip (which is on my phone at the moment) The Ballistic has somewhat beefier silicon all the way around. Slightly thicker, with a higher lip around the screen. It seems (without testing) to be more protective when I feel / examine them side-by-side (my wife and I have the same phone.)
The Ballistic does NOT have a hard outer shell as some may think. They use a thick but flexible glossy vinyl paint. It is attractive and I suppose adds a little strength, but it's not the hard plastic of other models. However, it does allow you to slip the phone into a pocket (and back out) more easily than if it did NOT have those painted areas, because the bare silicon is grippy indeed.
Over-all, it looks good, it's light, easy in and out of the pocket, and in my opinion, I find it to be more protective than the Speck, especially in face-down situations where it has a nice lip and puffed out shoulders.
Compared to Otter Boxen: The Defender (which I own) is nice, but too bulky for MY daily use (no good w/ my uniform).
The Commuter (which I own) is very protective, but heavy, and it's hard plastic outer shell is way to slippery.
The Tech21 Impact case is VERY classy looking, and beats them all in the looks department. But it's just a hard plastic shell and in my book, that's no protection at all.
Yep. I like this Ballistic Apira case very much. When I need another case, I will look at Ballistic first, and check out some of their other models as well. They have beefier more "manly" looking designs for those guys who don't want to walk around with big orange flowers on the phone. :)
So, why did I knock off one star? Price.

I Love FLowers and I love this Case!

The only things that would make this better is if it had a kickstand and if it was a bit more slick to slide into my purse, but it is a really good durable case and the buttons are easy to use and it it fits like a glove.
