Great Great Case! *Updated Review*

I am weird when it comes to cases (my wife would attest to this)! I am so picky with them, which is why I usually end up going through 4-5 cases through the life of a phone. With that said, I'm incredibly pleased with this case. If this exact case were at an AT&T store it'd be $30-40 easily. Here's what I love about it, in short, based on what I look for in a case.

Price
I'm willing to pay a premium price for the right case. I bought this case thinking it'd hold me over until I found "the one." No need to look any further. This is the one, and for a very low price.

Slender
If you're going to pay a high price for a phone that focuses on being slim and stylish, why have a case that adds bulk? This case is very thin, I still feel like I'm holding a super-slim phone.

Style
This Poetic case does not take away from the look of the phone....dare I say - it adds to it. It has a very nice look to it. It is see through so you can still see the "Samsung S4" and "ATT" logo on the back of the phone. It has a tiny Poetic logo on the bottom right of the case that actually looks quite nice. The design on the case looks nice with the lines across the back and front.

Functionality
It of course allows access to all the ports. The "lip" around the front of the phone does not hinder sliding my finger across the screen at all. It doesn't easily allow dirt under it. It also is not flimsy, which for some reason annoys me when cases have a flimsy rubber lip. The case is also fairly easy to take on and off. Lastly, the only negative is that the buttons are a bit more difficult to press down. Not annoyingly so, but I wish there was a softer rubber at the buttons to allow easier clicking of the power and volume buttons.

If you're debating on cases, go with this one. You won't be disappointed.

When I first reviewed the case I gave it a 5/5 star rating. Now that I've owned the case for some time, I can happily say I'm keeping with my original rating. I now alternate between this case and another case and the only reason I use the other case is because I have an extended battery that requires a proprietary case (Hyperion battery/case, highly recommended as well). I LOVE the Poetic case. It's still great and has held up to any abuse I've thrown at it, as well as still remains a very sharp looking case. If you're looking for your first (or next) case for your S4, pick this one!

Also, I now own several cases by Poetic for different phones/tablets and can happily say I'm pleased "across the board." Well done Poetic.

Would be better if my audio jack didn't fall out constantly.

I LOVE the look of this cover and it does a good job of being a cover. I like the rubber bits. A con I discovered is that it's very hard to get on and off, it will frequently remove the back of my S4 along with it. Normally that doesn't matter, it's a case, it's supposed to stay on well. It's a problem with this particular case because I have a problem keeping the audio jack in, I feel they did not allow enough space around it to let the plug be undisturbed. If I don't take the cover off, any slight jostling in the car will make it unplug. I have a 2 hour commute a day and find this to be a big enough con to not use the cover. I do plan on performing a little surgery on it so I can use it again, I really think it looks nice and I would love how tight the cover is if it didn't interfere with my podcast listening in the car.

Poetic Atmosphere Samsung Galaxy S4 Case

I ordered this case before I even received the phone because I had seen another of their cases on my brothers iphone 5 and loved the look and material. I received the case the next day after ordering it! It provides good protection being a harder plastic with minimal bulk. It adds good protection for the screen when placed face down, and the camera because of the raised areas. I would recommend this if you are looking for decent protection with minimal bulk added. Also the fit is perfect with easy access to all the buttons.
