Battery dud = return

Im trying to be careful about rating the product vs. seller but I'll just try to give as much detail as possible so you can be the judge. I purchased this battery to use as a spare from wireovia. The battery came in a small plastic slip/bag and was taped shut with a label with product info, etc.

This battery never fully charged. The most it charged to was 84%. After I unplugged it, it would inexplicably rise to about 91% and then drain. Of course, sometimes battery charges aren't read properly. So I completely drained it (twice!) until my phone turned off. Then recharged, still 84%.

Additionally, this battery drains MUCH faster than my original battery that came with the phone.

I'm returning it.

Not OEM

I purchased this battery hoping it was OEM and to find out they are not. The battery discharges really quick without using the phone at all. The thing that just gave it away is NFC does not work at all. I tried to use the beam feature on my phone with this battery and it did not do anything. I put my original Samsung battery back on and guess what the NFC worked. Also it did not even come with it's original Samsung packaging. The battery was just in a small plastic bag with a sticker. Why would a seller remove the battery from the original packaging, that's if it even came with a original packaging. It's no wonder the price of this battery dropped from 39.99 to 18 bucks. If it was true OEM, the price drop wouldn't have been so drastic.

not OEM quality

I got this battery 2 days after ordering which is good, other than that the battery sucks. It doesn't charge to capacity nor does it hold a charge well, depletes to 80% charge within an hour of standby. Went to Mc.D's and the NFC doesn't work either. Compared the battery to the one that came with the GSIII, the spare seems iffy. Buyers beware. I would give it negative stars but I can't.
