Here are the tips to make this cable working better.
1)the USB port of the cable have to connect with a power charger when using it.
2)please turn the 3G/4G radios off when using it, for it might somehow effect the connection, when using WIFI to watch the video, the signal of the connection will be fine.
Application: Connect a HDMi Male to Male cable(NOT included) to this MHL USB adapter, Joint another end to your HDTV, change your HDTV into HD input mode.
Connects your phone original Micro USB charge cable to the Micro USB female port Powered it by USB port or Charger.
Joint the MHL connect to yur samsung i9300, It will display everything from your phone to HDTV, mirror screen.
Please kindly note:
A) Do not connect the MHL Adapter to your device through the Desktop dock. The Video and Audio output will not work correctly.
B) Any incoming calls or messages will pause the media output. After taking the calls or acknowledging the messages, the media will resume playing.
C) If your TV has multiple HDMI ports, you may use any of the ports but need to make sure your TV settings have the correct HDMI port selected. Consult your TV owner's manual.
D) After connecting the MHL Adapter, the upper and lower sides of the TV/Monitor's screen may be cut off. In this case, you can adjust the TV/ Monitor in the Settings menu on your TV. Consult your TV owner's manual.

flaky at times

I ordered this for video via HDMI from cel phones. The cable intermittently works with two Galaxy S4s that I tried. It sometimes requires a restart to see the HD signal to video displays.. tried several diff brand displays.

This saved my battery!

I had not given thought one to the battery life while watching movies, or playing games on the big screen. I just let it play and before ya know it...the phone shuts off and I am left half way thru a movie. This bad boy has a USB attached so you can pop it into your PC or tablet that is plugged in or the USB on the TV if it has one and ta-da no more dead battery. The phone CHARGES while you watch your movie! Love it! no more dead battery because I fell asleep in a hotel room while watching Netflix or Hulu. Thanks! Great product and I am so happy you use prime.
